Deploying green hydrogen in a cost-efficient manner involves the digitalization of operations and the service offered.

This digitization involves the digitization of assets and production processes, plant operations, distribution and consumption processes, as well as the management of the hydrogen value chain. And all this executed from AIoT platforms. Where the deep tech of Artificial Intelligence, IoT and Big Data combine to turn the hydrogen industry into an Industry 4.0. With this, it is possible to manage all the elements that contribute to generate value within the hydrogen production and consumption chain.

The key to these AIoT platforms is their simplicity. They must be able to democratize the use of these deep tech technologies, or in other words, they must allow all user profiles (managers, analysts, operators, customers, ...) the possibility of maximizing the use of these technologies, without having any knowledge of them, reducing, if not eliminating the learning curves.

The role of these platforms is not only to maximize production, but also to predict (rather than prevent) maintenance and breakdowns or leaks and to have a data governance adequate to the information needs, so the use of predictive maintenance technologies or digital twins are often part of the platform solution implemented.

This technological innovation provided by AIoT platforms must be accompanied by others that allow complete innovation in the world of green hydrogen. We are talking about the electrolyzers needed in the production process, or in hydrogen fuel cells for its consumption, hydrogen generators for its distribution, among others.

It is clear that the combined use of all these technologies must allow the cost of production to be competitive and generate the economies of scale that will support the development of this energy source.

And it is in some of these technologies where MonoM contributes to this renewable hydrogen economy model. It is our contribution to the common goal of making Spain a benchmark in the use and deployment of green hydrogen at European and global level.
